Problem
As first hand accounts of the devastation of nuclear weapons become a part of history itself, how can we ensure future commitment to the nuclear disarmament movement among the public?

Insight
“What has kept the world safe from the bomb since 1945 has not been deterrence, in the sense of fear of specific weapons, so much as it's been memory. The memory of what happened at Hiroshima”- John Hersey
Solution
John Hersey was one of the first to interview and record first hand accounts of the events in Hiroshima in 1945. He has demonstrated that the best deterrence is to ensure that these stories live on.
This is a trans-media campaign, attempting to bring these stories to life, serving as a reminder and as a warning to the future.

The campaign is comprised of a digital comic element, podcast series and a live event with living survivors.
